  3. <hi style=afpcap>The Cessna Citation Jet, powered by a Williams F129 turbofan engine, is the only all-American aircraft design entered in the Air Force-run JPATS (Joint Primary Aircraft Trainer System) competition. "Jay-Pats" will replace he Cessna T-37 Tweety Bird trainers of the Air Force and the Beech T-34C Turbo Mentors used by the Navy.</hi>
